The CleanArt Planet Project was founded by three French artists, a designer,
a photographer and a film director: Gilles Cenazandotti, Thierry Ledé, and Charles-Antoine Sansonetti. They work on raising public awareness about the importance of cleaning up the ocean and the seas.
The subject of their photography, collages, and sculpture, is the debris they collect on the sea shore with groups of children. Each piece is unique and endowed with a powerful past.
From man to sea, weathering the storms and the tides, transformed and sent then back again as a reminder of the importance of rebuilding our future.
These objects are the traces of our civilization and the pollution of the sea. They return to the source and force us to question ourselves and our abuse of mother nature. Exhibited as the subject of CleanArt Planet's art work these discards of man project a meaningful statement of existence to each of us.
